It has long been said that enjoying fruits every day keeps us healthy and prevents the onset of illness. In general terms, the term *fruit* includes everything edible from different mature trees and bushes.
Fruit contains natural fruit sugar. Most fruits can be eaten raw. However as well as enjoying it fresh, you can eat it dried or as a preserve. There are number of types of fruits:

- Core fruit: Apples, pears, kaki, quince.
- Stone fruit: Cherries, peaches, apricots, plums, nectarines,
pomegranates. - Nuts: Walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, peanuts, almonds, pistaccios, indian walnuts.
- Citrus fruits: Lemons, oranges, grapefruits, mandarins.
- Citrus fruits-other: Kiwis, figs, carob, dates, coconuts.
- Tropical-exotic fruits: Bananas, pineapples, mangos, papaya, avocados, guajava.
We source our fruit in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Croatia and other European countries, as well as from more distant places such as Egypt, Argentina and Ecuador. However, please do not think that we overlook wonderful slovenian fruits, for that in our warehouses you can find seasonal apples, pears, apricots, nectarines, watermelons, strawberries, cherries and kaki.
